A slender, graceful stock with shadowed cheekpiece, drop magazine area and palm swell. The forend is rounded and ends in a Schnable tip. The Schnable can be filed off or just cut off as the forend is a bit long. The drop for the stock is right for scope use. If Iron sights will be used, order the Iron Sights version. Available in right and left hand versions, each with appropriate amount of cast-off/cast-on. Length of pull is 14" as it comes off the machine. This stock can be inlet to almost any action, but the Heavy Classic is recommended for heavy actions such as the P-14 or P-17 Enfields and other actions for heavy magnum calibers. A petite version for .22's and other smaller calibers is also available.
A graceful stock with a bit more meat. It has a rounded forend, pancake style cheekpiece, squared, defined magazine area and palm swell. The drop for the stock is right for scope use. Not offered in an Iron sight version. Available in right and left hand versions, each with appropriate amount of cast-off/cast-on. Length of pull is 14" without pad, and can be made longer if requested.
A Tributary of the Missouri
The Marias Classic stock has an open, swept back grip, medium butt and rounded forend that ends in a small schnable tip. The cheek piece is pancake style, but can be made conventional. The wrist is slightly heavy as it comes off the machine but can easily be made slender; bear in mind though, the wood comes off easy, but it won't go back on worth a darn. The length of pull is 14" without pad.
High Plains Classic
A medium Classic style stock, heavier in the butt than the above two stocks. The flow from the sharply curved grip is smooth to the front of the receiver area. The forend is rounded, and can be had with square or 45 degrees cut decorative forend tip and grip cap. It is suitable for most actions, but is very tight for 1917 Enfields with reduced magazine. Length of pull is 14" without pad and can be made longer by special request.
A heavy contour classic stock specifically for heavy magnum rifles. The butt is tall enough to allow trimming the comb to provide drop for iron sight use. The forend is rounded, there is a palm swell, and the cheekpiece is shadowed. This stock can be fitted with contrasting forend tip and grip cap, square cut or 45 degrees, at customer's request. Length of pull is 14" as it comes off the machine, but can be lengthened. The lower picture illustrates a dropped magazine bottom line to accommodate magnum rifle and 1917 Enfield full depth magazines with straightened floorplate. This is a special order feature. Please indicate the need when ordering.
