The Royal Arms Inletting Tools set is composed of five cutting tools; two special cutting knives called "Radius
Cutting Chisels" and three scrapers. The right and left hand radius cutting chisels are designed to cut around the
curve of the rear action tang or the curve of the front and rear trigger guard tangs on Mauser type actions, and are
used mostly in inletting bolt actions. The scrapers are a straight blade scraper, a curved blade scraper and a "Cobra
Head" scraper. These scrapers look like miniature garden hoes and are used mostly for inletting shotgun stocks,
99 Savage, Ruger #1 and other similar inlets, although they work very well inside any action recess or barrel channel.
Also available are right and left skew chisels for those hard to cut areas of grain. Because of shop-made handles,
they are higher priced. If you would like a special tool made, call and discuss it with me. These tools are available
from Brownell's.
The Royal Arms Bullet Puller (Pat Applied For) comes in two sizes. The Standard is capable of pulling bullets from 22
caliber to 45 caliber without changing anything. The Large Caliber Puller handles 35 to 60 caliber. The bullets emerge
completely reusable with only some small radial marks on the outside contour. No need to sort ammunition to be
disassembled into caliber groups, as the Royal Arms Bullet Puller can handle anything in its range without change.
To disassemble pistol ammunition, an extension must be used to raise the cartridge up to the bullet puller. On special
order, pullers are available for 17, 19 and 20 caliber. They probably won't handle 45's very well, but will handle some
larger calibers. The tips of the segments get so small that they bite the larger bullets pretty badly.
